Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers involve printing your designs onto a special film that is later applied to a garment using heat and pressure. This emerging technology allows for full-color, high-detail designs to be transferred onto various fabrics, including those difficult to print with traditional methods, such as polyester and nylon. DTF transfers can handle a wide range of colors, gradients, and intricate details while maintaining durability and flexibility. The designs are printed in reverse on the film, layered with a powder adhesive, and then cured before application. The result is a vibrant, soft, and long-lasting print that can easily be applied to clothing, accessories, and even hats.
